Bullet Resistant Acrylic, Level 1 Sheets provide protection against small caliber handguns while retaining the transparency, moisture resistance and impact resistance of acrylic. Why Use an Acrylic Bullet-Resistant Sheet?

More than 30% less expensive than bullet-resistant polycarbonate and laminated glass, bullet resistant acrylic sheets (often referred to as "bullet-proof glass") are a safe, cost-effective solution to the challenge of creating safer environments. Widely recognized as a preventative, they are effective deterrents. Moreover, Level 1 Bullet Resistant Plexiglass is approved by Underwriters Laboratories, Inc., UL, “protection is provided against complete penetration, the passage of fragments of projectiles, or spalling (fragmentation) of the protective material to the degree that injury would be caused to a person standing directly behind the bullet-resisting barrier.” Other grades are available to meet your specific needs.
