Acrylic sheet thickness tolerances are +/- 10% and can vary throughout the sheet, but variations are typically less than 5%. Please refer to nominal and actual sheet thicknesses below.

Non Glare Acrylic Sheets (also called P-99) has a matte finish, designed to minimize glare and reflection from most viewing angles. Like standard acrylic, Non Glare Acrylic Sheets are lightweight, easy to fabricate and shatter resistant. It is commonly used in art galleries and museums to display artwork, prints and photographs. Acme Plastics' Non Glare Acrylic Sheets come in a variety of thicknesses and sheet sizes. Custom cut option is available.


Why Use an Acrylic Non-Glare Sheet?

Non-Glare plastic acrylic panels were originally designed to minimize glare and light reflection. Preferable for glazing and framing applications, at 10 times the strength and half the weight of glass, non-glare acrylic sheet lends itself to projects and applications where ease of fabrication and flexibility are crucial. Non-glare plexiglass is naturally resistant to UV light degradation making the loss of light transmission and yellowing minor rather than major concerns.
