Turcite is an engineering plastic with low friction properties. It is also heat and chemical resistant with excellent wear characteristics. Turcite is made from a combination of Acetal and PTFE resins and available in A, B, and X varieties.

Turcite is an engineering plastic with low friction properties and excellent wear characteristics. and available in A, B, and X varieties. Turcite A is colored blue and commonly used as bearings for heavy loads at low speeds. Turcite X is colored red and commonly used as bearings for light loads at high speeds. Turcite B is sometimes referred to as Slydway and is commonly used as low friction bearings or wear strips.
