The 16mm multiwall sheets are ideal for safeguarding windows during hurricane season, eliminating the need for bulky and expensive framing systems. These multi-wall panels provide superior protection for windows and doors against hurricane force winds, flying debris, and severe weather, while still allowing natural light to enter. It is UV and weather resistant while being virtually unbreakable.
They have successfully passed the Dade County Hurricane test, withstanding a Large Missile Impact test where a 9 lb 2” X 4” missile was shot out of an air cannon without causing any damage to the panel or the glass behind it. Additionally, the panels have been tested against high air pressure, simulating 170 MPH winds, and have proven their durability.
