The U profile is special designed for connecting two polycarbonate sheets together on their length side. It must not be screwed, just applied to the two panels. It can be easily cut
It should be applied on the length side of the panel, as shown in pictures. The Polycarbonate U profile is very easy to cut and is flexible enough to fit both 8mm and 10mm twinwall polycarbonate sheets.
